2-18-2017- Gaiam Tree of Wisdom Yoga Mat Bag $5.98 (Reg. $19.99) at Target

All right all of you Yoga enthusiasts! Right now at Target on clearance you can grab this green Gaiam Tree of Wisdom Yoga Mat Bag for $5.98. They normally sell for $19.98! I am excited about this one. You can order online for free in-store pick up to make sure they’re not all gone by the time you get to the store. Or you can get free shipping with a $25 purchase. Or you can get free shipping (plus an additional 5% off purchase) if you have a Target REDCardUpdate: I think they are selling out quickly in the store. None of the Targets in my area had them in stock. I had to order it online.

2-15-2017 – Buy One Get One Free Snickers Brand Candy Bar PLUS $0.25 Cash Back

Chocolate is just as good post Valentine’s Day, right? Here’s how to get your buy one get one free Snickers brand candy bar (1.4 oz – 1.86 oz):

1. Print your buy one get one free coupon here (2 prints per computer so you can take advantage of this twice!) or click the icon:

(Note: Coupon is good through 3/14, but will only be available to print until 2/19)

2. Ibotta has a $0.25 cash rebate if you purchase the candy bars from either CVS or Walgreens. Also note that the rebate is for the Snickers “Crisper” candy bar, so just make sure that one of the two candy bars is that bar. Bonus: You can double your ibotta rebate if you purchase one “set” at CVS and one at Walgreens, OR if more than one person in your household has the ibotta app (both Brad and I have it).

Your final out of pocket cost will vary depending on the cost of the candy bars at the store. My final out of pocket cost was $1 for two bars, plus $0.25 cash back. Since Brad did it too we got four candy bars for $2 plus $0.50 cash back.

2-14-2017 – Today Only! Free 8×10 Print from CVS

This is an awesome Valentine’s Day gift, or gift for a future occasion, or just a nice thing to be able to do. TODAY only, get one FREE 8×10 photo from CVS. A $3.99 value, order online and use the code VALENTINE at checkout.  Free same day pick up is available. You’ll have a choice between a glossy or  matte finish. The glossy finish will be available same day. The matte finish will take 1-2 weeks, but there’s free shipping to the store for pick up. I took advantage of this offer and can vouch that it works.

2-14-2017 – Buy One Get One Free Entree at Qdoba Mexican Eats

Happy Valentine’s Day! Today only, Qdoba for a Kiss! To get your buy one get one free entree at participating Qdoba Mexican restaurants, all you have to do is share a kiss. No coupon needed. Sound weird? It’s cute. I did this the last time the promotion was offered. I went in by myself and kissed my arm to get the deal. If you are with someone, you can share a kiss on the cheek, kiss their hand, heck, kiss your phone. Just share a kiss and the free entree is yours (when you buy one). Enjoy!

2-13-2014 – Money Maker Here: Four 60 ct. Tic Tacs for Free, Get $4.32 Cash Back

You could make a little more or less depending on where you buy the Tic Tacs. I purchased mine at Target for $1.17 each. Here’s how it works:

1. Ibotta has two $2 cash bonuses: Weekend Warrior Bonus and Valentine’s Day Bonus. You earn $2 in cash when you redeem two rebates (total, not each!)

2. Ibotta also has numerous Tic Tac rebates ($0.25 cents off the 60 ct size of Freshmints, Fruit Adventure, or Orange). Purchase two Tic Tacs (I purchased two from Target at $1.17 each).

3. Verify your purchases with ibotta, and once you’re approved you have two free Tic Tacs PLUS $2.16 cents in your ibotta account. (I spent $2.34 for Tic Tacs. I got $0.50 back from the two $0.25 ibotta Tic Tac rebates. That brought the price down to $1.84. Because I redeemed two rebates I got both of the $2 Cash Bonuses. Final out of pocket cost was $0, plus I earned $2.16 in cash. Brad also has ibotta on his phone. He did the same thing so together we got 4 free Tic Tacs and earned $4.32. Sweet!). Hurry the cash back bonus ends soon. If you’re unfamiliar with how shopping apps work, see my recent post. If you’re unfamiliar with ibotta, see this post.

2-10-2017 – Save $5 (or more) on a $10 Purchase of Hallmark Cards

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, save $5 (or more) on a $10 purchase of Hallmark Cards. Here’s how:

1. Purchase at least $10 in cards at a Hallmark Gold Crown Store (i.e. stand alone store, not Hallmark cards from CVS, not from their online store).

2. Get $5 cash back from ibotta when you verify your purchase (expires 2/14).

Want to save more? If you are a Hallmark Gold Crown Rewards member you may have coupons or “rewards certificates.” You can stack and combine them to save even more. For instance, my purchase totaled $17.47 for four cards before tax. I got a Hallmark Reward Certificate in the mail that contained a $2 off purchase coupon and a buy 3 get 1 free coupon. In addition, Hallmark emailed me a different coupon for $2 off purchase. After the $4 in coupons and the price of the free card were deducted the total came to $10.48 ($11.11 with tax)! After the $5 cash back bonus from ibotta, the total out of pocket will be $6.11. If you know Hallmark card prices you know that’s a great deal.

Not a member of the Hallmark Crown Rewards program? Sign up here and when you do you’ll receive a coupon for $5 off $10 or more purchase.

2-2-2017 – Hope Hummus $0.74 at Whole Foods

I didn’t think I’d ever be posting about a deal at Whole Foods. Well, almost never. They very occasionally offer something priced significantly lower than other supermarkets. With that said it should come as no surprise that it’s a deal because it’s on sale AND it’s stacked with coupons and a cash back rebate.

I have wanted to try Hope Hummus for a long while now because they have such cool flavors (about 12), but the price tag has always been way too much. This week, I get to try two at $0.74 each. Here’s how you can get it too:

1. Whole Foods – Hope Hummus 8 oz containers are on sale for $1.99.

2. Stack it with a Hope Hummus coupon from the Hope Hummus website.

3. Stack it again with a $0.75 cash back rebate from BerryCart (a grocery shopping app like ibotta).

Final Cost: $0.74! I will get to enjoy two flavors because Brad and I both have BerryCart accounts. Double the deal! Yum!

2-1-2017 – Free Bagel Every Day This Month at Panera Bread

What an awesome way to start the month. I woke up this morning with an email from Panera Bread informing me that every day this month I could have a free bagel. Yay! I love their bagels. Check your email to see if you have this too. This type of reward doesn’t go out to everyone at once. I didn’t get it the last few times it rolled around, so I’m happy today.

To have a chance at getting this reward at all, you have to be in it to win it. By that I mean join their rewards program. It’s simple and it’s free. When you join you’ll receive a free dessert reward. You’ll also receive a free treat reward on your birthday. The  best part is when you get month long freebies like this. I’ve already had free coffee for a month. Brad had that reward too. So if you live or work near a Panera Bread, join their rewards program. Then you can plan your meals around that delicious carb-y bagel too!

Some January Deals that are Still Valid in February

1-30-2017 – $25 Target Gift Card with Purchase of $100 in “Baby Essentials”

Since Brad and I don’t have kids I typically don’t post about baby and toddler deals. However, a friend with young ones clued me into this deal at Target  so I thought I’d share.

Get a $25 GiftCard when you spend $100 on baby! Diapers, wipes, toiletries, formula and baby food. Valid 1/29-2/4

Okay, it comes out to 25% off, right? Call me under impressed. Now, combine and stack with a variety of coupons, THEN we’re talking a good deal.  You can order online and receive the $25 gift card, but in order to maximize savings and save a WHOLE LOT MORE by using coupons, visit the store in person.  Here’s a sampling of the savings:

1. Use Target CartWheel! There are numerous coupons in the app that can be used on eligible items, including sales. Here’s a sampling of what is in the app right now:

$2 off Pampers Diapers

$0.50 off Pampers Wipes

10% off Seventh Generation Wipes

$2 off Huggies Diapers

5% Gerber Snacks

10% off Pure Bliss

2. Stack with these Printable Coupons. To access, just click off which ones you want, click and print. Limit two prints per computer.

3. Stack Again with the Ibotta App Instant Cash Back Rebates. Sample of what’s in Ibotta:

$1 Cash back on Seventh Generation Baby Wipes (stack with the 10% Target Cartwheel coupon)

$10 Cash back on three Pure Bliss Infant Formula (stack with 10% off Target Cartwheel coupon)

$1 Cash back on Beech Nut Cold Puree Organic Pouches

$4 Huggies High Value Diapers

Wow. This stuff isn’t cheap is it??? Whew. I’m the opposite of expert when it comes to scouting baby product deals, so consider this to be a broad stroke overview of the possibilities. There’s much more in the apps and coupons than I listed. It does look to me that you can get a good haul between coupons, app discounts, cash back and gift card.

1-27-2017 – Free 14-Piece Nutrition and Wellness Sample Box from Amazon After Credit

I wrote an article about why I detest and won’t pay for sample boxes (i.e. Graze). Samples should be free, right? This nugget is an exception to that rule. If you already purchase nutrition and wellness products from Amazon (think name brand vitamins, supplements, organic snack bars, etc.) then this is a GREAT deal. If you do NOT or would not purchase nutrition and wellness products from Amazon then don’t even bother with this. Here’s the deal:

Purchase a Nutrition and Wellness Sample Box (which will contain 14 or more products) from Amazon for $14.99 and receive a $14.99 credit for a future nutrition and wellness purchase.

Contents may vary but appears to be a mixture of sample and full-sized products. One box that included 17 products included the following:

Garden of Life Raw Fit (2 packs) – $5.81
Burt’s Bees Protein – $3.5
Neocell Biotin Bursts (10 days) – $3.08
Bodylogix Natural Whey – $3.68
Smarty Pants Adult Complete – $0.77
Emergen-C – $0.27
Jarrow Formulas Jarro-Dophilus EPS (15 capsules, use up to 4 per day) – $4.55
Renew Life Ultimate Flora Probiotic – $0.5
Centrum Vitamints – $0.22
New Chapter Every Woman’s One Daily Multi – $0.38
Vega Protein Snack Bar – $1.67
Quest Beyond Cereal Bar (2 Bars) – $3.45
Clif Bar Nut Butter Filled – $1.08
Myoplex Pre-workout – $1.42
Sundown Naturals Vitamin C Gummies (full size, 90 ct) – $5.99

That’s over a $30 value for $14.99, which you will get back in the form of an Amazon credit, which essentially makes this box free! There are literally hundreds of products you can use the credit on. So, yeah. This type of sample box I’d pay for.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This deal is only good for Amazon Prime Members. If you’re not one, you can get Prime free for 30 days to try it out and get the sample box and credit. Prime is easy to cancel and not hassle.
